Turn technical searches into well-defined project enquiries.
A datasheet explains a component. A good digital sales journey also explains whether it suits the application and what should happen next. Karposa connects application searches, technical content and CRM qualification for industrial manufacturers.

Establish technical fit before the first conversation
Engineering, purchasing and maintenance need different answers. Someone selecting a drive, replacing an assembly or specifying a machine should not face the same generic contact route. We organise content and enquiries around the task and purchasing stage.
Applications, not umbrella terms
Distinguish searches by function, material, operating conditions and interfaces. A sizing question needs different content from a spare-part search or a specific enquiry about series production.
Data with technical context
Make specifications, units, operating limits and document versions easy to understand. Datasheets remain available; accessible specification pages support comparison and identify information that still needs checking.
Quality, not form volume
Handle sample requirements, series procurement, equipment projects and service cases separately. Sales receives relevant parameters, ownership and open questions rather than just another email address.
Four stages for industrial demand
The architecture connects technical selection with commercial follow-up. Scope and sequence depend on the product portfolio, available data and sales resources.
- 01
1. Organise intent and portfolio
We distinguish application searches, product families, part numbers and service needs. Google Ads receives appropriate landing pages and reviewable exclusion rules. Search terms are assessed; this cannot eliminate every irrelevant contact.
Output: Search-intent matrix and campaign structure. - 02
2. Support technical selection
Application and product pages connect performance ranges, connections, environmental conditions and approved supporting documents. Technical owners review claims and versions. Technical SEO and GEO rely on accessible, consistent content, not on purported special AI technology.
Output: Page model with technical approval workflow. - 03
3. Capture structured project requirements
The enquiry journey distinguishes standard components, modifications and complete systems. Relevant questions cover application, interfaces, quantity and timing. Missing specifications remain explicitly open; an early development stage is not automatically disqualified.
Output: Enquiry specification and routing rules. - 04
4. Feed back CRM quality
We agree ownership, duplicate rules and statuses such as technically suitable, quotation or unsuitable. Any CRM or ERP integration requires technical assessment. Offline conversions require review of lawful basis, consent and data minimisation; hashing is not anonymisation.
Output: Field mapping and verifiable sales signals.
From document archive to selection journey
Illustrative conceptual system comparison: this describes possible structures, not measured customer results or a guaranteed improvement.
| Area | Disconnected starting point | Proposed target structure |
|---|---|---|
| Application search | A broad product term leads to a generic homepage. | Search intent leads to the relevant application or product family. |
| Technical selection | Documents lack clear versions or operating limits. | Comparable specifications include units, limits and approved documents. |
| Project enquiry | Free text mixes spare parts, development and series requirements. | Requirement type, technical parameters and open points are captured separately. |
| Sales assessment | Submitting a form already counts as success. | Defined CRM statuses distinguish contact, technical fit and quotation opportunity. |
How the concept can be checked
These are conceptual work and review modules with expected documents. They are not reference projects, customer evidence or claimed results.
Review search intent
Application questions, series requirements and spare-part searches are checked against landing pages and exclusion reasons.
Approve specifications
Specifications, units, document versions and responsible reviewers are structured for a product family.
Test the handover
Defined test enquiries check required fields, ownership, duplicates and traceable CRM status changes.
A fit when engineering and sales participate
Karposa works globally and remote-first. Technical collaboration and workable processes matter, not artificial industry exclusivity.
Good starting conditions
- You offer machinery, components or systems whose selection requires explanation and whose operating limits can be defined.
- Technical owners can approve product data, and sales has capacity to provide structured feedback.
- You want to assess enquiry quality against agreed criteria and a realistic purchasing cycle.
Not the right approach
- You expect guaranteed orders, rankings or AI recommendations.
- Technical claims are to be published without specialist review.
- Nobody owns new enquiries, and there is no willingness to maintain CRM data.
Questions from industrial sales teams
Does this work for custom machinery and series components?
Yes, with different selection journeys: series components need comparable characteristics; custom machinery first needs a task definition and boundary conditions. Scope and technical feasibility are clarified beforehand. An online form does not replace engineering design.
Must we replace every PDF datasheet?
No. Search systems can process PDFs. Supplementary accessible web specifications make comparison and source checking easier. AI search does not require a special AI schema; indexing or allowing a crawler does not guarantee a mention.
Can we keep our existing CRM or ERP?
That is the aim, not a blanket promise. Interfaces, permissions, field models and data protection are assessed first. Only then can we determine which handover is technically appropriate and can be operated reliably.
How do you handle confidential drawings?
Public pages contain approved information only. CAD files and project-specific details belong in an agreed secure exchange. Confidentiality, access rights and retention must be settled before any transfer.
What do we measure over long purchasing cycles?
Alongside enquiries, defined interim stages matter: technical fit, completeness, quotation status and rejection reason. Cost per qualified enquiry is meaningful only with reliable attribution. Orders, revenue and complete attribution are not guaranteed.
A video audit of your industrial enquiry journey
Receive a free personal video audit with a response within one working day, without a preliminary sales call or pressure to sign. We review your public website for application clarity, technical selection support and enquiry barriers. The video is not generated automatically.
Start with your website URL and email; qualification uses the existing wizard. Internal accounts, CRM, margins, consent and tracking quality can only be assessed with authorisation, data access and technical checks.
